From September 7th to 8th, the 17th China Wireless Technology and Application Conference hosted by the China Radio Association was held in Beijing. Zhang Feng, chief engineer of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, attended the meeting and delivered a speech.

Zhang Feng said that in recent years, my country has made great progress in the field of wireless technology and applications. With the implementation of major national strategies such as network power and manufacturing power, big data, smart terminals, mobile Internet, cloud computing and other new technologies continue to develop. With innovation and development, the demand and application of radio spectrum in all walks of life is increasing. It is hoped that this conference can exchange and discuss wireless technology and applications, and jointly promote the development of technology and industry.

Zhang Feng put forward three suggestions: First, integrate wireless technology and application development into major national strategies. Second, the development of wireless technology and applications should be combined with the "Thirteenth Five-Year" plan for my country's information and communication industry. The third is to seize the historical opportunity to jointly promote the innovation and development of wireless technology and applications.

In the keynote speech, Kan Runtian, deputy director of the Radio Administration of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, firstly notified the "Regulations of the People's Republic of China on Radio Management (Revised Draft)" which had just been adopted in principle at the executive meeting of the State Council and the "National Radio Management Plan (2016-2010)" issued by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. " related situation. Kan Runtian said that this will lead the future development of my country's radio management, and will have an important and far-reaching impact on radio management.

For the current situation of radio technology and application development and the status quo of spectrum resource management in my country, Kan Runtian conducted an in-depth analysis, and put forward ideas for key spectrum resource management in the future. He said that the future direction of radio spectrum resource management is intensive cultivation, adhering to the revitalization of stock resources, expansion of incremental resources, and realization of scientific and refined spectrum resource management. It is necessary to continuously encourage and promote the development of new radio technologies and new applications, and improve the efficiency of spectrum use; it is necessary to continue to support dynamic spectrum sharing, and spectrum use should move from dedicated to compatible sharing, and from static sharing to dynamic sharing. On the one hand, it is necessary to effectively meet the frequency demand of the future IMT system; on the other hand, continue to do a good job in major national strategies such as "Broadband China", "Made in China 2025", "Internet +" action plan, as well as aerospace, etc. Frequency support work for major national science and technology projects.

Li Jingchun, deputy director and chief engineer of the National Radio Monitoring Center, introduced the development trend of radio monitoring technology during the "Thirteenth Five-Year Plan" period to the participants.

The conference also focused on seven topics: radio spectrum technology and management, Bluetooth IoT application trends, 5G and small cells, AeroMACS seminars, broadband trunking communications, low-power wireless access for industrial IoT/narrowband IoT, and Ka satellite communications. A seminar was launched. Technical experts from China Academy of Information and Communications Technology, China Mobile, China Unicom, China Telecom, China Academy of Railway Sciences, etc., as well as representatives of domestic and foreign companies such as Huawei and Siemens, exchanged views on the application and development of radio technology in various fields.
